"Pretty candle, but the wick works when it wants"
I got the Baobab candle it looks beautiful sitting out. The glass is really nice and the scent is good too, so at first I was happy with it.
The wick is where it gets annoying. It kind of works when it wants to. Sometimes it burns fine, then other times it starts going uneven or the flame gets way too big, so I had to keep trimming it and messing with it more than I expected.

It’s not a bad candle, but for the price I wanted it to be a little more low-maintenance. I still like the look and smell, I just wish the wick behaved better.

I’ll admit, the packaging was really nice and felt a lot more high-end than I expected. Everything was neatly done, and it made the order feel like a proper gift. I’m only knocking off a star because the delivery updates could’ve been clearer, but the presentation was genuinely lovely.

"Took me a bit to get around"
I was just trying to browse around and see what they had, and at first it seemed like there was plenty on the site. The pages loaded fine for me, and I did eventually get where I needed to go, but it took more clicking than I expected. After a while, the whole thing started to feel a little clunky, and finding specific stuff wasn’t as easy as it probably should be.

"Not totally sold on this brand"
I was checking out baobabcollection.com, but the reputation kind of made me pause, haha. With prices like that, I’d expect to feel a lot more confident and see less mixed feedback. I’m sure some people have had good experiences, but I personally don’t feel super comfortable ordering from them. Just doesn’t really feel worth the risk to me.

"I’m really happy with this candle overall..."
I’m really happy with this candle overall. The scent is lovely and definitely feels high quality, nothing cheap or artificial about it. It filled the room quickly, which I appreciated, though it was a bit strong at first for my taste. Still, it has such a classy smell and I’m glad I tried it. I’d buy it again, probably in a smaller size next time.

"Pretty jar, trash burn"
The jar is really nice, I’ll give it that, but the wax itself was a total dud. It started tunneling fast and left a bunch stuck around the sides, which was annoying. For what I paid, I expected this thing to burn way cleaner instead of acting like some cheap little candle imposter.

"I don’t know, I expected the exchange to..."
I don’t know, I expected the exchange to be simple, but it ended up taking way longer than I thought. Support was... fine, I guess, but not really that helpful when I needed answers. Just kind of frustrating overall.

"Nice scent, but it just doesn’t last"
I really wanted to like this because it smells great when you first put it on, but the scent disappears way too fast. After a little while I can barely notice it anymore. Maybe this is just how their fragrances are, but based on this one, I wouldn’t expect much staying power. For the price, I definitely thought it would last longer

"Pretty nice, though I’m not totally sure it was worth it"
I actually really liked the candles, they smell great and look nice around the house. Delivery was fine too, nothing amazing but no real complaints. That said, they did feel a bit pricey for what they are, even though I’d probably still buy them again if I felt like treating myself.

I ordered from Baobab Collection and the package arrived in good shape, which was great, but one of the items wasn’t the size I had chosen. It wasn’t the end of the world, but at this price point I expected the order to be double-checked before shipping.

Customer service did get back to me and they were polite, but sorting it out took more effort than it should have. I also had to keep verifying the same details over and over, which got frustrating. The products themselves are really nice, but the order accuracy and support process could definitely be smoother

"Burned unevenly"
I wanted to like this candle, but it tunneled badly and just never seemed to burn right. It was kind of burning worse than other candles I’ve had, but... yeah, not a great experience.

"Delivery was super late :/"
I paid for delivery thinking it would show up on time, but it ended up arriving more than a week late. The tracking barely updated the whole time, and when I contacted support, they basically just told me to wait... Not a great experience, and I don’t think I’ll order from them again.

I bought this as a gift and it definitely looked fancy and nice when it arrived. The price felt a little high, though, and the hardest part was choosing a scent for someone I don’t know that well. Kind of on me, but they don’t exactly make that part easy either

Overall, it was a good choice. Most of the stuff I needed was available, but a few items were sold out, which was a little annoying because I was hoping to grab everything in one trip, anyway, still not bad.

The packaging looked nice overall, but one corner of the candle got a bit crushed in transit. It’s not the end of the world, but I do think it’s only fair to expect a little better care with something people are paying for and maybe even gifting.

I was kind of hoping the smell would be stronger, but I could barely notice it after lighting it. Maybe it works better in a smaller room, but for me it was weak.
